About Sylveco

Sylveco is a family-owned and family-managed Polish company based in Łąka, in the Podkarpackie region, that makes natural skin care. Besides the Sylveco line it runs the Vianek and Biolaven brands; product names in our database such as BIOLAVEN, DUETUS or ALOESOVE reflect these lines. The company describes its approach as combining dermocosmetic ingredients with herbs traditionally grown in Poland, and states that it does not use parabens or test on animals.

What the Sylveco labels show

Face creams, hand creams and deodorants lead the 487 products listed for this family company, which also runs the Vianek and Biolaven lines.

Its stated paraben-free approach is borne out by our data: no formula contains parabens, silicones appear in just 1 (<1%) and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in 7 (1%). Fragrance is the norm rather than the exception, though – 379 formulas (78%) declare it. After water, the most frequent ingredients are PARFUM (378), GLYCERIN (367), PANTHENOL (277) and BENZYL ALCOHOL (219).

Reading herbal formulas

The herbs the company highlights appear on the pack under Latin botanical names, for example CALENDULA OFFICINALIS FLOWER EXTRACT, and an asterisk usually points to a footnote marking certified-organic ingredients. Since Vianek and Biolaven products sit under the same name here, check the line on the pack when comparing two similar creams.
