Our review

A plant-oil hand cream with soybean and grape seed oils, shea and avocado butters, urea and squalane, scented with lavender; reviewers like the grape-lavender scent and quick absorption, but some find it too light for very dry hands.

Packaging and what the product is

The manufacturer’s photo shows a slim 100 ml tube in white and lavender with a black flip cap, labelled “Biolaven – krem do rąk odżywczy – nawilża, regeneruje”, with a lavender illustration and a “Vegan” mark. Biolaven is a line of the Polish brand Sylveco built around grape seed oil and lavender.

Ingredient analysis

The base is water with Glycine Soja (soybean) oil and Vitis Vinifera (grape) seed oil – both light, fast-absorbing oils – followed by glycerin and Butyrospermum Parkii (shea) butter. Sorbitan stearate, sucrose cocoate and glyceryl stearate are plant-derived emulsifiers. Urea, lecithin and squalane sit in the middle of the list, and avocado butter and cetyl alcohol add richness.

Lavandula oil is the botanical fragrance; benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid preserve the cream, an approach common in natural-leaning brands.

What to watch out for

The cream contains parfum plus lavender oil, with declared limonene, linalool, vanillin, beta-caryophyllene and linalyl acetate. People sensitive to fragrance or essential oils should take this into account. Soybean oil is not a concern for most users, but those with a known soy allergy may want to check with their doctor before use on damaged skin.

What users say

On Wizaż the hand cream had an average of 4.1/5 from 19 ratings (checked 30 October 2026); the manufacturer’s own shop showed 5.0 from 19 reviews on the same day. Wizaż reviewers like the distinctive grape scent, the light texture that absorbs fast without greasiness and the quality of the ingredients. Critical reviews say it is not nourishing enough for very dry or cracked hands, that the texture is rather thin, and one finds the scent tiring.

Who it may suit

People with normal to slightly dry hands who want a light, quickly absorbed daily cream with a natural-cosmetics profile and a lavender scent. Very dry, cracked hands will probably need a richer, more occlusive product.
