Packaging and what the product is

The manufacturer’s photo shows a white roll-on bottle with a clear cap and a lilac label, “Biolaven Dezodorant”, with a lavender motif and a “Vegan” mark; a Wizaż reviewer gives the volume as 50 ml. The brand describes it as a natural deodorant for children, teenagers and adults.

Ingredient analysis

The odour-control system combines Triethyl Citrate (second ingredient), which slows the bacterial breakdown of sweat, and Zinc Ricinoleate, which binds odour molecules; Oryza Sativa (rice) starch absorbs some moisture. There are no aluminium salts, so it is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant – it does not reduce sweating.

Grape seed oil, glycerin, panthenol, squalane and allantoin care for the skin; sage leaf, oak bark and lavender extracts are botanical additions. Benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid preserve the formula. (Our database spells the grape oil “Viniferaa” – a typo for Vitis Vinifera.)

What to watch out for

The fragrance is strong on botanicals: lavender oil, bergamot peel oil and parfum, with declared linalool, geraniol, limonene, camphor, beta-caryophyllene, linalyl acetate, terpineol and pinene. Underarm skin, especially after shaving, can react to fragrances and essential oils, so people with a fragrance allergy should be careful.

Positive reviews like the lavender–bergamot scent, the gentle feel on the skin and the packaging. More critical reviewers say the protection is moderate and does not last all day, and remind others that it does not stop sweating; the lowest-rated review on Wizaż is titled simply “KIT” (“rubbish”).

Who it may suit

People who want an aluminium-free deodorant with a natural profile and like herbal, lavender scents, and who do not sweat heavily. Those needing strong, all-day protection or reacting to essential oils may prefer another product.
