About YOPE

YOPE is a Polish cosmetics brand founded by Karolina Kuklińska-Kosowicz and Paweł Kosowicz and present on the Polish market for about a decade. It started with natural liquid soaps and shower gels, which remain its core, and later added face, body and hair care. The founders describe natural ingredients and mass-market accessibility as key goals.

From soap dispenser to hair care

Shower gels still head YOPE's 134 products in INCIMondo, followed by hand creams, body care and hair care – a spread that mirrors how the brand grew from its liquid soaps. GLYCERIN is the most frequent ingredient after water, with PARFUM, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BENZOATE and CITRIC ACID close behind.

Scent is a defining feature: 125 formulas (93%) contain fragrance ingredients. Parabens appear in none of the 134 formulas, silicones in just 1 (1%) and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in 5 (4%).

Practical notes on YOPE

Many YOPE products are rinse-off cleansers. On EU labels, ingredients are listed in descending order of concentration, with those under 1% allowed in any order, so the first few entries tell you most about the base of a gel or soap. Formulas are revised from time to time; the list printed on your bottle is the one that applies.
