The quoted photo from clochee.com shows a slim glass bottle with a silver airless pump and clear cap, labelled “Clochee Hydroactive Sorbet – sorbet hydroactif – hydroaktywny sorbet” with a blue “moisturizing” band at the bottom. The brand lists 50 ml. It is a lightweight day-and-night face cream described as suitable for all skin types; reviewers describe an off-white to beige, light texture.

Ingredient analysis

The base is water, glycerin (a humectant) and Maris Aqua (sea water), with squalane as a light, non-greasy emollient. Glyceryl stearate and cetearyl alcohol form the emulsion, inulin is a prebiotic sugar, and hectorite, a clay mineral, thickens the texture – which may explain the slightly matte finish some users report.

Hydration actives include Tremella Fuciformis (snow mushroom) polysaccharide and hyaluronic acid, plus hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans. The botanical complex features Hoya Lacunosa (porcelain flower), Nymphaea Caerulea (blue lotus) and Nelumbo Nucifera (sacred lotus) flower extracts, alongside two ferment filtrates (bamboo and radish root). Preservation relies on dehydroacetic acid and benzyl alcohol; the leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate also has antimicrobial properties. Parfum is listed with limonene, citral and linalool.

What to watch out for

Limonene, citral and linalool are fragrance allergens that must be declared in the EU above set thresholds; citral in particular is a known contact sensitiser, so people with fragrance allergies should patch-test. Note the small typo “Propanedio” (propanediol) in the published INCI. The formula contains no UV filters, so daytime sun protection is still needed separately.

Many of the reviews were written in March 2024 as part of a Wizaż product test, which is worth keeping in mind. Users praise the ultra-light, fast-absorbing texture, comfortable hydration that suits dry and oily skin alike, a smooth base that does not pill under make-up or SPF, and the elegant glass pump bottle.

Downsides mentioned include a short-lived feeling of tightness right after application (reported by several people), a scent some describe as specific, and one reviewer who found it heavier than the name “sorbet” suggests. Some users wanted more moisture for very dry skin in winter.

Who it may suit
