An inexpensive 50 ml hand balm with a classic cream base of glycerin, fatty alcohols, coconut oil, shea butter, petrolatum and dimethicone, plus a tropical fragrance. Reviewers mostly like it as a light, fast-absorbing handbag cream; those with very dry hands find it too weak.

Packaging and what the product is

We could not find a current product page with an official photo, so no image is cited here. According to reviewers, the balm comes in a small 50 ml yellow tube decorated with bananas, coconuts, mango, palm leaves and a flamingo, with a screw cap; several mention it fits easily in a handbag.

Ingredient analysis

Water and glycerin form the base, with cetearyl alcohol, stearic and palmitic acids giving body. Coconut oil and shea butter add lipids, while petrolatum and dimethicone form the protective film that makes hands feel smooth. Allantoin and tocopheryl acetate are supporting care ingredients. Despite the name, the fruit extracts listed are mango, passion fruit and lemon – no banana extract appears in the INCI. Preservation is phenoxyethanol with ethylhexylglycerin and potassium sorbate; sodium bisulfite acts as an antioxidant.
