Our review
A fragrance-free, very gentle micellar cleansing gel with polyglyceryl esters, panthenol, hyaluronate and prebiotic ingredients; well rated overall, but many detailed reviews say it is too weak to remove make-up, especially mascara.

Packaging and what the product is
The manufacturer’s photo shows a transparent pump bottle with a white-and-blue label: “Iwostin Hydro Sensitia Prebio – oczyszczający żel micelarny” (cleansing micellar gel) for dry and sensitive skin. It is part of the Hydro Sensitia Prebio line and is meant for washing the face.
Ingredient analysis
The cleansing agents are Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate and Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate – very mild, PEG-free polyglyceryl esters that dissolve oils without strong foaming. Glycerin is second on the list, and panthenol and sodium hyaluronate add moisture.
Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Polymnia Sonchifolia (yacon) root juice, maltodextrin and Lactobacillus are the “prebiotic” complex the line is named after, present in small amounts. Carbomer gives the gel texture; phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate preserve it.
What to watch out for
No parfum is listed, which suits sensitive skin. Because the cleansing agents are so mild, the gel may not dissolve long-wear make-up or waterproof mascara; using a separate eye make-up remover avoids rubbing the eyes. Phenoxyethanol is a permitted preservative (max. 1% in the EU).
What users say
On Wizaż the gel had an average of 4.5/5 from 100 ratings (checked 30 October 2026). The most detailed reviews we read were more critical than the average suggests: users describe a gentle, odourless, non-foaming gel with a handy pump that leaves skin comfortable, but many say it barely removes make-up – one reviewer jokes that after mascara you are left with panda eyes. Some therefore use it as a second cleansing step or a mild morning wash.
Who it may suit
People with dry or sensitive skin who want a fragrance-free, non-drying face wash for the morning or as a second step after make-up removal. Those who wear heavy or waterproof make-up will need a separate remover.
