Our review

A water-based cream eyeshadow in a slim twist-up stick, with a shimmer built from synthetic mica and glass-like flakes. Reviewers like how quickly it goes on and how well it lasts; the main caveat is a short blending window.

Packaging and what the product is

The quoted manufacturer photo shows a slim, metallic mauve-pink stick, about pen-sized, with the product name printed along the barrel – a 1.4 g cream eyeshadow that twists up and is applied straight onto the lid, then blended with a finger or brush. Shade 120 Magnetic Mauve is a shimmery mauve from a range of about ten matte and shimmer shades.

Ingredient analysis

Unusually for a stick, the formula starts with water and butylene glycol, which explains the cooling, creamy feel reviewers describe. Sodium stearate (a soap-type gelling agent) and sorbitan esters give the stick its shape; glycerin keeps it supple and dimethicone adds slip. The sparkle comes from synthetic fluorphlogopite (synthetic mica), calcium sodium and calcium aluminium borosilicate (glass-based reflective particles) with tin oxide. Silica silylate is listed twice, once marked [nano] – EU rules require nanomaterials to be labelled this way. The preservative is phenoxyethanol; no fragrance is listed.

Our copy of the INCI list does not include colourant CI numbers. Colour cosmetics often list shade pigments separately (sometimes after “+/- may contain”), so check the full label for iron oxides, mica or other colourants.

What to watch out for

The formula has no listed fragrance allergens, which is good for an eye product. As with any eye makeup, stop using it if your eyes sting or redden, and keep the stick clean because it touches the lid directly. Contact lens wearers sometimes find loose shimmer particles irritating.

What users say

On Lyko the shade had an average of 4.6/5 from 5 reviews (checked 30.10.2026). Reviewers praise how smoothly it glides on, that it builds and blends easily and stays in place all day without settling into lines; one uses it as an eyeliner. Criticism: one reviewer found the stick very soft and easy to break. A blogger review (Really Ree) also describes a creamy, cooling texture with good longevity and little creasing even without primer, but advises blending quickly because the product sets.

Who it may suit

People who want a quick, one-step shimmer lid colour or a soft liner, including those with oily lids. Those who like to work slowly with layered, precisely blended looks may prefer a powder shadow.
