Our review

A classic all-purpose men’s cream for face, hands and body: a glycerin and mineral-oil emulsion with a little alcohol for a fast-absorbing feel, vitamin E and a fresh masculine fragrance. It is very popular on Wizaż, where reviewers praise its versatility, quick absorption and low price.

Packaging and what the product is

The image from nivea.pl shows the familiar round metal tin with a navy-blue lid and silver rim, printed “NIVEA MEN – Creme – twarz • ciało • ręce – 75 ml” (face, body, hands). The cream is scooped out with the fingers; the tin is small enough for a gym or travel bag.

Ingredient analysis

Water and glycerin lead, followed by Paraffinum Liquidum (mineral oil), which forms a protective, moisture-retaining film. Alcohol Denat. is fourth: it lightens the texture and helps the cream absorb quickly, which explains why reviewers do not find it greasy. Cetyl and stearyl alcohols, glyceryl stearate, hydrogenated coco-glycerides and microcrystalline wax give body, and a series of fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, myristic, arachidic, oleic) with sodium carbomer stabilises the emulsion.

Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) and dimethicone add care and slip. It is preserved with phenoxyethanol and methylparaben and scented with parfum including the declared allergen geraniol. The list on nivea.pl today is very close but shows carbomer with sodium hydroxide and BHT and no separately named geraniol, so small formula updates have happened; check your tin.

What to watch out for

The fragrance, geraniol and the denatured alcohol can bother very sensitive or freshly irritated skin; one reviewer explicitly liked that it did not sting after shaving, but sensitive users should still patch-test. Methylparaben is permitted in the EU and considered safe by the SCCS at the authorised levels, though some people prefer paraben-free products. Mineral oil is cosmetic-grade and not a concern in itself, but rich creams may feel heavy on very oily skin.

What users say

On Wizaż the cream averages 4.5/5 from 72 ratings (checked 30 Oct 2026); on nivea.pl the product page shows 5/5 from a single rating. The 18 most recent Wizaż reviews we could read were 4–5 stars: users apply it to the face after shaving, to dry hands, elbows and feet, praise quick absorption without a greasy layer, a pleasant fresh scent, good economy and the low price; one woman uses it herself as a night cream.

One reviewer noted a slightly greasy layer for a moment before it absorbs, and another said it does not work miracles like pricier creams. The older, lower ratings that pull the average below 5 were not visible to us, so the critical side is under-represented here.

Who it may suit

Men – and anyone – who want one inexpensive, scented cream for face, hands and body, including after shaving. People with fragrance allergies, very reactive skin or a preference for paraben-free, alcohol-free formulas should look for an unscented alternative.
