Our review

A fragrance-free, peptide-based lash serum that adds Olaplex's bond-building ingredient to a simple humectant gel, without prostaglandin analogues. The few public reviews are lukewarm, mostly because of the price.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo on olaplex.com shows a slim silver tube with “LASHBOND” printed vertically and the wand pulled out beside it – a fine eyeliner-style brush for the upper lash line. Retailers list it at 4.4–4.5 ml. It is meant as a daily lash-conditioning serum.

Ingredient analysis

The base is water, butylene glycol and glycerin thickened with hydroxyethylcellulose. The marketing actives follow straight after: palmitoyl pentapeptide-83 amide, acetyl tetrapeptide-3 and myristoyl pentapeptide-17 – peptides widely used in lash and hair-fibre products – then bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, Olaplex's bond-building ingredient.

Supporting ingredients include sodium hyaluronate, biotin, panthenol, pantethine, oat kernel extract and red clover flower extract (often paired with acetyl tetrapeptide-3). Preservation combines phenoxyethanol, chlorphenesin, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate and sorbic/benzoic acid. There is no fragrance and no prostaglandin analogue.

What to watch out for

No declared fragrance allergens, which suits the eye area. Chlorphenesin and the other preservatives are permitted within EU limits, but any product used on the lash line can sting sensitive eyes or contact-lens wearers. Apply to clean, dry lashes and avoid getting it into the eye.

What users say

Public opinions are few. On Cult Beauty the serum has 2.8/5 from 6 reviews (checked 31 Oct 2026). One reviewer reports thicker, longer lashes with consistent use and no lid discoloration; another noticed mainly that fewer lashes fell out.

The other reviews call it “okay but not revolutionary” and too expensive for the result, and two compare it unfavourably with cheaper or rival lash serums. With so few ratings, this average should be treated with caution.

Who it may suit

People who want a gentle, fragrance-free lash-conditioning routine and prefer to avoid prostaglandin-type ingredients, and who are happy to pay a brand premium. Those expecting dramatic growth may be disappointed, judging by the limited feedback.
