Packaging and what the product is

The image from sebamed.de shows a white 100 ml tube with a screw cap, the green-and-pink sebamed logo, a “10% Urea” seal and the text “Urea 10% – Akut Fusscreme – parfümfrei – sehr trockene Haut”, with a note that it stabilises the skin microbiome and is made in Germany. It belongs to the brand’s ‘Trockene Haut’ range for very dry, rough feet.

Ingredient analysis

Water and caprylic/capric triglyceride (a light, non-greasy emollient) come first, followed by Urea in third place, consistent with the declared 10%. Urea is a natural moisturising factor that attracts water and, at this level, helps soften rough, thickened skin. Glycerin adds hydration, and glyceryl stearate citrate is a mild emulsifier.

Panthenol, tocopheryl acetate and hydrolysed keratin support skin comfort and softness. Citric acid and sodium hydroxide set the pH, carbomer thickens, and phenoxyethanol with sodium benzoate preserve it. There is no parfum in this version – sebamed also sells a scented variant with fragrance and benzyl alcohol, so check which one you pick up.

What to watch out for

Urea at 10% may sting on cracked or broken skin; applying it to intact skin avoids this. The scented sister product contains fragrance and benzyl alcohol, so people avoiding fragrance should look for “parfümfrei” on the tube. Very deep cracks, pain or wounds on the feet are a matter for a doctor or podiatrist rather than a cosmetic.

We found very few opinions. On sebamed.de the fragrance-free cream shows 5.0/5 from a single rating with no text (checked 30 Oct 2026). On Wizaż, a page for the sebamed urea 10% foot cream – without an ingredient list, so possibly the scented variant – shows 1.5/5 from 2 ratings (checked 30 Oct 2026), from 2017 and 2021.

Those two reviewers found it ordinary: it moisturised only lightly and did not cope with cracked heels, and one disliked the smell and runny texture – a point that would not apply to the fragrance-free version. Given how few and how old the opinions are, they say little about the current product.

Who it may suit

People with dry, rough feet who want a simple, fragrance-free urea cream with a light texture. Those looking for a rich, occlusive balm for heavily cracked heels may want a thicker product or professional advice.
