Our review

A liposomal-style lash and brow serum with mulberry root, red clover, acetyl tetrapeptide-3 and a plant-made growth-factor peptide – no prostaglandin analogue, but with fragrance and a paraben. The handful of reviews is enthusiastic, mostly about brows.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo on sesderma.com shows a white-and-lilac box reading “sesderma SESLASH – Lash & eyebrow activating serum”, “Intensive booster”, “Results in 28 days” and 5 ml / 0.17 fl. oz., next to a slim white tube with a silver cap and a brush applicator. It is applied to the lash line and brows.

Ingredient analysis

Water and glycerin lead, followed by PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil and lecithin (which form the vesicle system Sesderma calls nanotech), propanediol and a silicone glycol. Tocopheryl acetate and panthenol come next, then the claim ingredients: Morus alba (white mulberry) root extract, sodium hyaluronate, acetyl tetrapeptide-3, red clover extract and Nicotiana benthamiana hexapeptide-40 sh-polypeptide-86 – a recombinant growth-factor-like peptide produced in tobacco plants.

Preservation uses phenoxyethanol and sodium methylparaben; BHT is an antioxidant and parfum is added at the very end. Sesderma's current official list also includes alcohol, which is missing from the list we analysed, so check the pack.

What to watch out for

Fragrance near the eyes is a potential irritant, although no individual allergens are declared. Methylparaben is a permitted preservative with an EU limit. Keep the product out of the eye and stop if redness or stinging appears.

What users say

Opinions are few. On LOOKFANTASTIC the serum has 4.8/5 from 4 reviews written in 2020 (checked 31 Oct 2026). Three reviewers describe visible brow growth on sparse or over-plucked areas after three weeks to three months, one also noticing thicker, glossier lashes; one long-time user of a pricier brand says it took about eight weeks rather than six to see a difference.

The single 4-star review is from a new user who had noticed some growth but was still early in use. With so few, older reviews, these results cannot be generalised.

Who it may suit

People who want a prostaglandin-free lash and brow serum, especially for sparse brows, and who are comfortable with a lightly fragranced formula. Those with very sensitive eyes may prefer a fragrance-free product.
