Our review

A children's sun milk with very high protection built entirely on modern organic UV filters and without fragrance in the listed formula. Published user opinions are scarce, so the assessment rests mainly on the ingredient list.

Packaging and what the product is

Our database lists this entry under the generic name “Protector solar” (a Portuguese label). The quoted photo shows what it actually is: Bioderma Photoderm Pediatrics Lait SPF 50+, a 200 ml soft tube in pale pink with a yellow “50+” panel, children's illustrations and the claim of very high protection for children's skin. A milk texture in a large tube points to whole-body use on the beach.

Ingredient analysis

Protection comes from four organic UV filters: diethylhexyl butamido triazone, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB filter), butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (avobenzone, UVA) and ethylhexyl triazone (UVB). There are no mineral filters such as zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.

The base is light and spreadable: dibutyl adipate, dicaprylyl carbonate and C12-15 alkyl benzoate dissolve the filters, while Aleurites fordii oil copolymer acts as a film former that helps the product stay on the skin. Glycerin, apricot kernel oil, soybean oil and tocopherol provide care and antioxidant protection for the oils. Preservation relies on o-cymen-5-ol with 1,2-hexanediol and caprylyl glycol. No parfum appears in the list we hold.

What to watch out for

All four filters are permitted in the EU under Annex VI of the cosmetics regulation, with maximum concentrations given on their ingredient pages. Organic filters can occasionally irritate very sensitive or atopic skin, so a test on a small area is sensible.

Paediatric advice generally recommends keeping babies under six months out of direct sun rather than relying on sunscreen; ask a doctor or pharmacist about young infants. The list in our record may be shortened – check the full label.

What users say

We found very few published user opinions: the Sephora.fr and pharmacy pages we checked showed no reviews (30.10.2026). Without reliable user feedback we do not give an average rating; any judgement about texture, white cast or water resistance should come from your own test or from more reviews as they appear.

Who it may suit

Parents looking for a fragrance-free, very high SPF body milk for children over the age at which sunscreen is advised, and adults with sensitive skin who prefer a children's formula.
