Our review

Single-use blue hydrogel under-eye patches made from water, glycerin and gelling agents, with caffeine, a long list of plant extracts, hyaluronic acid and collagen. Users like the cooling feel when chilled, but opinions are split and the average rating is modest.

Packaging and what the product is

We found no current official product page, so no photo is cited. Reviewers describe one pair of thin, blue hydrogel patches in a small plastic tray inside a carton; the packaging recommends chilling them in the fridge before use for a cooling-compress effect.

Ingredient analysis

The gel is formed by xanthan gum, carrageenan (Chondrus crispus powder), glucomannan and algin in a water-glycerin-butylene glycol base. Caffeine and sodium hyaluronate are joined by extracts of centella, Japanese knotweed, Baikal skullcap, green tea, liquorice, chamomile and rosemary, plus hydrolysed collagen. The blue colour comes from CI 74160 and CI 42053. Methylparaben and chlorphenesin preserve it; there is no fragrance.

What to watch out for

The extract list is long but the extracts sit after the gelling agents, so their amounts are likely small. Chamomile belongs to the daisy family, relevant for people sensitive to these plants. The patches sit close to the eyes; a few reviewers report stinging, so avoid contact with the eye itself and remove them if they burn.

What users say

On Wizaż the patches had 3.3/5 from 12 ratings (checked 31 Oct 2026). Positive reviews describe a pleasant cooling, refreshing feel after refrigeration, good adhesion and some reduction of morning puffiness. Critical reviews – including two recent 1/5 ratings – found no effect on dark circles, little hydration, or stinging, and one noted the cooling fades quickly once the gel reaches room temperature. The small number of reviews limits conclusions.

Who it may suit

People who enjoy a quick, cooling eye-area ritual and keep expectations modest. Those with very sensitive eyes, or who are looking for a visible effect on dark circles, may be disappointed.
