Packaging and what the product is

The soraya.pl photo shows a clear plastic bottle with a white flip cap and a pale-green label with the “SORAYA” logo, a stylised pink-and-lime “C”, the words “care control” and “cera mieszana, tłusta z niedoskonałościami – tonik zwężający pory” (combination and oily skin with imperfections – pore-minimising toner). It is used on a cotton pad after cleansing.

Ingredient analysis

Glycerin is second and glycolic acid third, making glycolic acid the main active; the pH is adjusted with sodium hydroxide. Panthenol follows, then the classic “fruit acid” extract blend – bilberry, sugar cane, orange, lemon and sugar maple. Enantia chlorantha bark extract with oleanolic acid is a plant complex marketed for oily skin, and biosaccharide gum-4 is a skin-conditioning polysaccharide. PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil solubilises the fragrance. Phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol preserve the toner; it contains no alcohol denat.

What to watch out for

Glycolic acid increases sun sensitivity, so daily sunscreen is advisable while using it, and combining it with other acids or retinoids may irritate. The toner is fragranced, with geraniol and linalool declared. Dry or sensitive skin may find it drying – one reviewer says exactly that.

Positive reviews mention a matt, cleaner-looking face, gradual gentle exfoliation, fewer spots with regular use, a fresh citrus scent, a low price and good yield. Negative reviews say it did nothing beyond refreshing, did not reduce shine or blackheads, or dried the skin so much that a moisturiser from the same line could not compensate.

Who it may suit

Adults with oily or combination skin who tolerate acids and want an inexpensive, alcohol-free exfoliating toner. Dry or reactive skin, and people avoiding fragrance, may prefer a gentler option.
