Our review

An inexpensive drugstore face wash for oily and combination skin, with mild amphoteric and glucoside surfactants, lactic acid, fruit extracts and sodium salicylate, scented and tinted green. Wizaż opinions are mixed: many like the clean, matte, non-tight finish, while a vocal minority reported stinging and dryness.

Packaging and what the product is

The image from soraya.pl shows a mint-green squeeze tube with a flip cap, a magenta swirl and the text “care control – cera mieszana, tłusta z niedoskonałościami – oczyszczający żel do mycia twarzy” (cleansing gel for combination and oily skin with imperfections), with a small badge referring to five fruit acids. It is a rinse-off gel used morning and evening.

Ingredient analysis

The cleansing system is relatively gentle: Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate and Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, with glycerin as humectant. Lactic Acid is the first active, followed by panthenol and allantoin and a blend of bilberry, sugar cane, orange, lemon and sugar maple extracts – the classic ‘five fruit acids’ complex, which in a wash-off product mainly helps the skin feel smoother. Biosaccharide gum-4 and sodium salicylate (a salt of salicylic acid) come later.

Glycol distearate gives a pearly look, Laureth-2 and a PEG/PPG thickener build texture, and the preservatives are sodium benzoate and benzoic acid with disodium EDTA. The gel contains parfum with the declared allergens geraniol and linalool, and is coloured with CI 19140 (tartrazine) and CI 42090 (brilliant blue).

What to watch out for

Geraniol and linalool are listed fragrance allergens; people with fragrance sensitivity should note them. Even mild cleansers can sting if left on the face too long or if they get into the eyes – one reviewer warned about eye irritation. Sodium salicylate counts towards EU salicylic acid limits but in a rinse-off cleanser exposure is short.

On Wizaż the gel averages 3.8/5 from 10 ratings, with 60% saying they would buy again (checked 30 Oct 2026); most reviews date from 2019–2022. Fans describe a thick gel that needs only a small amount, lathers lightly, removes make-up and sebum well, leaves skin matte and fresh without tightness, smells pleasant (citrusy or tea-like) and is often on promotion.

Two 1-star reviews describe the opposite: a sharp scent, burning when the gel stays on the face for a few seconds, and dry, irritated skin; one also found it hard to rinse. Several people dislike the tube, which becomes hard to squeeze as it empties, and one noticed eye irritation.

Who it may suit

Oily or combination skin that tolerates fragrance and wants an affordable everyday gel cleanser. Allergy-prone, very sensitive or dry skin may be better off with a fragrance-free, colourant-free wash.
