Our review

A fragrance-free eye cream from Tołpa’s Black from Nature line that pairs the brand’s peat extract with plant stem-cell culture and a well-known eye-area peptide trio. Users mostly praise the light, fast-absorbing texture and comfort; opinions on visible anti-ageing effects are split.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo from tolpa.pl shows a slim black 10 ml tube with a long, narrow nozzle next to a black carton printed with “komórki macierzyste + torf tołpa” (stem cells + Tołpa peat) and “siła odmłodzenia” (rejuvenating power). It is a leave-on cream for the skin around the eyes and the eyelids, meant for morning and evening use, and belongs to the Black from Nature anti-ageing range.

Ingredient analysis

The base is water and glycerin with light emollients (isohexadecane, coco-caprylate) and an olive-derived emulsifier system; aluminium starch octenylsuccinate gives a soft, powdery finish. Peat extract – Tołpa’s signature ingredient – sits seventh, followed by hydroxyethyl urea, a strong humectant.

Further down come Buddleja davidii meristem cell culture, hesperidin methyl chalcone, galangal (Alpinia galanga) and cotton-flower extracts, a set of sugars (fructose, glucose, inositol, sucrose, trehalose) and the peptides dipeptide-2 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 – a combination often used in creams aimed at puffiness and dark circles. The formula contains no parfum; it is preserved with benzyl alcohol, salicylic, sorbic and benzoic acids, potassium sorbate and chlorhexidine digluconate.

What to watch out for

There is no added fragrance and no labelled fragrance allergens, which is a plus for the eye area. The preservative blend is fairly long; benzyl alcohol and chlorhexidine are permitted, regulated preservatives but can occasionally irritate very reactive eyes. As with any eye product, stop using it if swelling or stinging appears.

What users say

On Wizaż the cream has 3.4/5 from 10 ratings, and tolpa.pl shows 92 out of 100 from 28 ratings (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Positive reviews describe a light, creamy texture that absorbs quickly, sits well under make-up, hydrates and does not sting; several buyers said they were repurchasing.

Critical voices say it is an average moisturiser that did not visibly soften wrinkles or lighten shadows – one Wizaż reviewer summed it up as “Krem jest w porządku średniakiem” (“The cream is a decent middle-of-the-road product”). One person found it not moisturising enough, others thought it pricey for 10 ml, and one tolpa.pl reviewer reported swollen, irritated eyes after using it with the matching day cream.

Who it may suit

People looking for a light, fragrance-free daily eye cream that works under make-up. Those expecting a dramatic anti-wrinkle effect, or with very dry, mature skin around the eyes, may find it too modest.
