Our review

A short-contact kaolin-and-clay face mask with allantoin and aloe in a light, creamy base, from Vichy’s mineral mask range. The handful of Wizaż reviews is mostly positive about a clean, smooth result without dryness; there are too few opinions for a firm verdict.

Packaging and what the product is

Our database lists this mask as a 75 ml product (the format sold in a tube in Vichy’s mineral mask range); we could not obtain a product photo from the manufacturer’s page, so no image is quoted here. One Wizaż reviewer also mentions single-use sachets. It is applied to clean skin in a layer, left for a few minutes – reviewers mention about 3–5 minutes – and rinsed off.

Ingredient analysis

The mask is built on Kaolin and “Argilla” (clay) right after water, giving the absorbing, purifying effect typical of clay masks. Propanediol and glycerin keep it from drying out too fast, and caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetearyl alcohol and ceteareth-20 make it a creamy emulsion rather than a stiff paste; corn starch adds a soft, mattifying feel.

Allantoin and aloe leaf juice powder are soothing extras; lecithin and tocopherol support the formula. Titanium dioxide and iron oxides (CI 77891, CI 77499, CI 77492, CI 77491) tint the mask. It is preserved with phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol, and contains parfum.

What to watch out for

Clay masks can feel drying on dry or sensitive skin if left on too long; keep to the short time on the label. The mask contains fragrance. One Wizaż reviewer reports that Vichy’s mineral masks irritated her skin, though she found this one the mildest of the three she tried.

What users say

On Wizaż the mask averages 4.0/5 from 6 ratings (checked 30 Oct 2026). Positive reviewers like the short application time, the creamy, easy-to-spread texture, a visibly cleaner and smoother skin, a brightening effect, and no tightness; one calls it her favourite clay mask, another says a 75 ml tube lasts several months at once a week.

On the other hand, one reviewer finds sachets uneconomical, and one with fairly tolerant skin experienced irritation from Vichy’s mineral masks and describes this one as more like a cream than a mask. Because there are only six ratings and we found no other substantial review source, treat this as limited evidence.

Who it may suit

Normal, combination and oily skin wanting a quick, gentle clay mask once or twice a week. Very dry or reactive skin should try it on a small area first.
