An inexpensive volumising mascara with a large silicone brush and a classic wax-and-soap formula. It divides users sharply: verified Rossmann buyers rate it highly, while on Wizaż many complain about clumping, excess product on the brush and flaking.

Packaging and what the product is

The quoted photo from wibo.pl shows a chunky black tube with a large neon-yellow “BOOM BOOM MASCARA” print, next to the wand with a dense, curved silicone brush. Retailers list it as 11 g and market it for a false-lash effect. It is a regular (not waterproof) mascara that comes off with ordinary make-up remover.

Ingredient analysis

This is a traditional cream mascara: water, beeswax, carnauba and candelilla waxes, glyceryl stearate and stearic/palmitic acids neutralised with triethanolamine form the emulsion that coats lashes. VP/eicosene copolymer, polyvinyl alcohol and PVP are film formers that give hold and help prevent smudging.

The black colour is iron oxide (CI 77499). Propylene glycol keeps the formula from drying, lecithin, tocopherol and ascorbyl palmitate are antioxidants, and preservation relies on phenoxyethanol, sodium dehydroacetate, methylparaben and propylparaben.

What to watch out for

Methylparaben and propylparaben are permitted in EU cosmetics within set limits; people avoiding parabens will want another product. Contact-lens wearers and those with sensitive eyes should watch for flaking, which some users report. As with any mascara, replace it a few months after opening and do not share it.

Ratings differ by platform: Rossmann.pl shows 4.73/5 from 48 verified-purchase reviews, while Wizaż shows 3.0/5 from 75 ratings (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Fans praise an intense black, visibly longer and thicker lashes even when lashes are short, a precise brush that catches small hairs, good wear and a low price; one long-term user says she has gone through more than a dozen tubes.

Critics on Wizaż describe clumped lashes, too much product picked up by the large brush, lumps, flaking during the day and a bulky tube. Several note it works better once the formula dries slightly or when applied slowly from the root.

Who it may suit

People who like dramatic, heavy-volume lashes and a big silicone brush, and are comfortable wiping excess product off the wand. Those who want separated, natural lashes or have sensitive eyes may prefer a lighter formula.
