The jar holds 100 ml. It is a basic day-and-night moisturiser taken out with the fingers, which some users mind for hygiene reasons.

Ingredient analysis

Water is followed by isopropyl myristate (a light, fast-spreading emollient), dimethicone and glycerin, so the cream is mainly about slip and surface moisture. Glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, cetyl alcohol and stearic acid form the emulsion, and mineral oil adds an occlusive film. Chamomile flower extract and chamomile flower oil sit in the middle of the list, followed by tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E). Two polymer thickeners and polysorbate 80 stabilise the texture; phenoxyethanol with ethylhexylglycerin preserves it, and parfum closes the list.

What to watch out for

The product is fragranced, although the version on ziaja.com declares no individual fragrance allergens. Chamomile can occasionally irritate people allergic to plants of the daisy family. Isopropyl myristate and mineral oil are fine for most, but people prone to clogged pores sometimes avoid rich emollient esters. Note that the INCI shown on Wizaż is an older recipe (with retinyl palmitate and listed allergens), so older reviews may refer to that formula.

Reviewers praise the light texture, quick absorption, low price and how little is needed; one describes the scent as pleasant but clearly synthetic. One user felt slight tightness around the nose a few hours after applying and would have liked a richer formula; the jar is the usual complaint.

Who it may suit

Adults with normal or combination skin who want a simple, inexpensive moisturiser and do not mind fragrance or a jar. People with very dry skin, fragrance sensitivity or a known daisy-family allergy may prefer something else.
