Packaging and what the product is

The ecocera.pl photo shows a small, square kraft-cardboard pan holder with a pale pink pressed blush. Ecocera sells the 5 g blush as a refill for its bamboo magnetic palette; the brand describes Ballet as a delicate pastel pink with a satin finish, intended for fair complexions or a very subtle effect, applied with a soft brush after powder.

Ingredient analysis

Talc is the main filler, followed by titanium dioxide, isopropyl palmitate (an emollient binder), mica and carnauba wax. Cellulose, isostearyl isostearate, octyldodecanol and octyldodecyl myristate improve slip and adhesion, while maltodextrin and triethoxycaprylylsilane (a coating for pigments) help texture.

The colour comes from iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499) and CI 45430 (a red dye), with beetroot extract listed as a colouring botanical. Preservation uses phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin; citric and ascorbic acids complete the list. There is no fragrance.

What to watch out for

The formula is fragrance-free, which suits sensitive skin. Isopropyl palmitate and other esters are sometimes avoided by people prone to clogged pores, though in a powder blush the amount on skin is small. The refill has no lid of its own, so it needs a palette for travel.

Common praise is strong pigment, easy blending without patches, a fresh natural flush and a low price; frequent criticism concerns the flimsy cardboard refill without a closure, a powdery texture that can crumble on a dense brush, and wear that some found short.

Only two reviews mention Ballet specifically. One described a girlish pastel pink with fine light-reflecting particles, not heavily pigmented and easy to build up – “ideal for very pale skin”. The other expected a cool, very light pink but found it warmer and darker on the face than in the pan, strongly pigmented and quick to fade, and rated it 2/5. Opinions on this exact shade are therefore few and mixed.

Fair skin tones looking for a soft pink blush with a satin sheen, especially people who already use Ecocera’s magnetic palette. If you want a cool-toned pink or long wear, swatch it first.
