Our review

An acid foot peel in a roll-on from Farmona’s Podologic Advanced Care range, combining lactic, glycolic, tartaric and citric acids with urea and fruit enzymes to soften hard skin before filing. Opinions are few but mostly positive; the main complaint is that the roll-on drips.

Packaging and what the product is

We could not retrieve a product photo from the manufacturer’s site, so no image is quoted here. The retailer listing describes a 50 ml roll-on sold as “Kwasowy Peeling do Stóp Mikrozłuszczający Roll-On – Podologic Advanced Care, The Feet Coach”, presented as a professional podology product for home use. The formula in our database matches the ingredient list shown by the retailer. It is applied to calloused areas of the feet, left on and followed by mechanical exfoliation, according to user descriptions.

Ingredient analysis

Lactic acid is the second ingredient, followed by urea and glycerin, so the product is built around keratolytic and moisturising softening of thick skin. Glycolic, tartaric and citric acids complete the AHA blend, with sodium hydroxide partly neutralising it to a skin-suitable pH. Three proteolytic enzymes – papain (papaya), ficin (fig) and bromelain (pineapple) – add enzymatic exfoliation, alongside sugar maple extract, which naturally contains fruit acids.

Hydroxyethylcellulose gives the gel-like texture, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil and polysorbate 60 solubilise lemon peel, lavender and rosemary oils, phosphates buffer the pH, and phenoxyethanol with ethylhexylglycerin preserve it. Fragrance includes tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes (a woody aroma molecule).

What to watch out for

Concentrated acids and enzymes can sting or irritate; avoid broken, cracked or irritated skin, keep away from eyes and mucous membranes, wash hands after use and follow the leave-on time on the pack. Lemon peel, lavender and rosemary oils may bother fragrance-sensitive skin. Anyone with reduced sensation or circulation problems in the feet should follow professional foot-care advice before using exfoliating products.

What users say

Opinions are scarce: on Rossmann the peel has 4.44/5 from 9 ratings (checked 30 Oct 2026), and only a few include text. Satisfied buyers say it softens hard skin quickly, so that a foot file then works well, and recommend it.

The one detailed critical review (3/5) says the roll-on drips heavily, so instead of keeping hands clean it gets everything, including hands, messy; apart from that she found the product “neither bad nor great”. With nine ratings, treat this as an early indication.

Who it may suit

Adults with rough, thickened skin on heels and soles who want a home acid-and-enzyme softener to use before filing, and who do not mind a somewhat runny applicator. Not for cracked or irritated skin.
