Our review
A silicone-based, oil-free moisturising gel for men over 30 that aims to hydrate and mattify, with an African bark extract for shine control, a red-alga extract, hyaluronate and panthenol. Public feedback is minimal – a single positive review – so real-world performance is hard to judge.

Packaging and what the product is
The soraya.pl photo shows the black carton with an orange-to-yellow “MEN ENERGY” logo, “30+”, “HYDRO-ŻEL / HYDRO-GEL”, the claim “nawilża i matuje” (moisturises and mattifies) and the names of the two featured complexes, “energy fito-taurine” and “hydro-matt complex”; the container itself is not visible. It is a light face gel for daily morning and evening use, part of Soraya’s men’s line. The capacity is not stated on the product page.
Ingredient analysis
The texture comes from silicones: caprylyl methicone, a silicone elastomer (PEG-12 dimethicone/PPG-20 crosspolymer), dimethicone and a PEG-modified silane, with glycerin and propanediol as humectants. Allantoin, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and tocopherol add soothing and moisturising support.
Enantia chlorantha bark extract with oleanolic acid forms the “hydro-matt” complex aimed at shine; Jania rubens, a red alga, is the basis of the “fito-taurine” claim. The formula also contains two UV filters (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate) but no declared SPF, plus BHT, phenoxyethanol and chlorphenesin as preservatives, parfum with linalool, limonene and citral, and the dyes CI 19140 and CI 42090.
What to watch out for
Linalool, limonene and citral are labelled fragrance allergens, and the two colourants are unnecessary for skin care. Although UV filters are present, the product makes no SPF claim and should not be used as sun protection. The silicone-rich base suits oily skin but may feel too light for dry skin.
What users say
Opinions are very scarce: Wizaż lists a single rating, 4/5 (checked 30 Oct 2026), from 2020. The reviewer bought it as a gift for her husband and describes functional, masculine packaging, a fresh feel, quick absorption without a greasy film, a visibly matte finish and less noticeable pores; she reports he was very satisfied.
No negative reviews were found, but one opinion cannot show how the gel performs across skin types or over time.
Who it may suit
Men with normal, combination or oily skin who want a quick-absorbing, mattifying gel rather than a cream. Those with dry skin, or sensitive to fragrance and dyes, may prefer a richer, unscented moisturiser.
