Our review

A light, fragrance-free (essential-oil scented) night cream for combination and blemish-prone skin, built on hemp, grape and black seed oils with sulphur and niacinamide. Many users say it calms blemishes and absorbs well, but the strong sulphur smell is the dominant complaint and some found it drying.

Packaging and what the product is

The sylveco.pl photo shows a 50 ml black jar printed with white leaf drawings, a black screw lid and a lime-yellow label reading “duetus KREM NA NOC – regeneruje + reguluje”, in front of a matching black-and-white carton. According to the shop, the jar is glass with a PP lid; reviewers mention a wooden spatula in the box. Duetus is a Sylveco line for combination, oily and blemish-prone skin, and this is its evening cream; the brand gives a 3-month period after opening.

Ingredient analysis

After water, the formula is dominated by oils: hemp seed, grape seed and black cumin (Nigella sativa) seed oil, emulsified with sorbitan stearate, sucrose cocoate, glyceryl stearate and cetearyl alcohol. Actives include calendula extract, sulphur (the brand calls it bio-sulphur) and niacinamide, plus vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate); agar, acacia gum and xanthan gum give body.

There is no parfum: the scent comes from grapefruit and thyme essential oils, which is why citral, limonene and linalool are listed. Preservation uses benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid. The shop labels the cream vegan.

What to watch out for

Citral, limonene and linalool are fragrance allergens that must be declared in the EU; thyme oil can irritate sensitive skin. Sulphur gives the product its characteristic smell and can dry the skin with frequent use, which matches several reviews. The short 3-month PAO is worth keeping in mind.

What users say

On Wizaż the cream has 3.6/5 from 89 ratings; on sylveco.pl it shows 4.8/5 from 37 reviews (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Positive reviews describe a light texture that absorbs quickly without a greasy film, does not clog pores and helps calm inflamed spots; one Wizaż reviewer wrote that “krem działa i spełnia obietnice producenta” (“it works and keeps the maker’s promises”).

The smell is the most frequent problem: many reviewers describe a strong sulphur odour that lingers until morning, and some stopped using the cream because of it. Several people with sensitive or dry skin found it drying or tightening, others thought it too thin for a night cream, and one regular buyer felt the formula had become runnier after a packaging change.

Who it may suit

Adults with oily, combination or blemish-prone skin who want a light evening cream and do not mind a herbal-sulphur scent. People with dry or very sensitive skin, or who are put off by strong natural smells, may prefer something else or use it only some evenings.
