Our review

A light night cream for combination and blemish-prone skin with hemp, grape seed and black cumin oils, calendula, niacinamide and sulphur. Opinions are sharply divided: some users with breakout-prone skin are very happy with it, while many cannot tolerate its strong sulphur smell or find it drying.

Packaging and what the product is

The vianek.pl photo shows a 50 ml dark jar with a black lid and a bright yellow label reading “duetus KREM NA NOC – regeneruje + reguluje” (regenerates and regulates), standing in front of its black-and-white carton with a botanical line pattern and a yellow panel listing hemp oil, calendula extract and bio-sulphur. Reviewers mention a wooden spatula in the box. One long-time user noticed that the lid changed from metal to plastic and felt the texture changed too.

Ingredient analysis

The oil phase is unusually prominent: hemp seed, grape seed and black cumin (Nigella sativa) oils come right after water, emulsified with sorbitan stearate, sucrose cocoate, glyceryl stearate, stearic acid and cetearyl alcohol. Calendula extract, sulphur and niacinamide are the featured actives; sulphur is traditionally used in products for oily and blemish-prone skin, and niacinamide supports the barrier and a more even look.

Agar, acacia gum and xanthan thicken the cream, tocopheryl acetate is an antioxidant, and the scent comes from grapefruit and thyme essential oils (with citral, limonene and linalool listed) rather than a separate parfum. Benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid preserve it.

What to watch out for

Sulphur gives a distinctive smell and can be drying for some skin types. Thyme oil and black cumin oil are potent botanicals that may irritate sensitive skin, and citral, limonene and linalool are labelled fragrance allergens. Patch-testing is sensible, especially when combining it with other active products.

What users say

On Wizaż the cream has 3.6/5 from 89 ratings, while on vianek.pl it has 4.75/5 from 36 reviews (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Positive reviewers with combination or breakout-prone skin say their skin looked calmer, blemishes healed faster and the cream absorbed quickly with a matte, non-sticky finish; several bought it again or paired it with the Duetus day cream or cleanser.

Negative reviews focus on the smell: many describe a strong sulphur odour that some could not bear. Others found the texture too runny for a night cream, said it dried their skin or upset its oil balance, or saw no change. One reviewer summed it up as effective but impossible to use because of the scent.

Who it may suit

Adults with oily or combination skin prone to blemishes who want a light, plant-oil night cream and do not mind a noticeable sulphur scent. Dry, sensitive skin, or anyone sensitive to essential oils, may want a milder product.
