Our review

The US fragrance-free Daily Moisturizing body lotion: a very short formula of glycerin, petrolatum, emollients and oat flour; Wizaż reviewers rate it highly for fast absorption and lasting moisture.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo (from Open Beauty Facts) shows a large white pump bottle with a green label – “Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion, intensely nourishes dry skin, fragrance free” – in the 20 fl oz (591 ml) US size. Aveeno sells versions of this lotion in many countries, and European versions may have a different ingredient list, so check the label of the bottle you buy.

Ingredient analysis

The listed formula is very short: water, glycerin (humectant), Distearyldimonium Chloride (cationic emulsifier that gives a light, non-greasy feel), petrolatum (an occlusive that reduces water loss), isopropyl palmitate and cetyl alcohol (emollients), and Avena Sativa kernel flour – colloidal oatmeal. Benzyl alcohol preserves the lotion and sodium chloride adjusts the texture.

On the US Drug Facts panel, dimethicone is listed separately as the “active” skin-protectant ingredient; it is therefore missing from the inactive-ingredient list reproduced in our database.

What to watch out for

No fragrance is listed, which suits people who avoid perfumes. Benzyl alcohol is a permitted preservative that can rarely act as a fragrance allergen. People with a known oat allergy should be cautious.

What users say

On Wizaż the lotion had an average of 4.8/5 from 18 ratings (checked 30 October 2026). Reviewers with very dry, sometimes allergy-prone skin say it absorbs quickly, keeps skin moisturised for a long time and hardly smells; one describes it as a slightly lighter version of the Aveeno cream that sinks in almost instantly. Negative comments were rare in the reviews we saw; the number of ratings is moderate, and we did not find a second large source for this exact US version.

Who it may suit

Anyone with dry or sensitive body skin who wants a quick-absorbing, fragrance-free everyday lotion. Those who need richer care for very rough areas may layer it with a heavier cream.
