Packaging and what the product is

Hyalu B5 Soin is a 40 ml face cream marketed for anti-ageing care of sensitive skin. The quoted photo is the manufacturer’s front packshot for this exact barcode (3337875583589).

Ingredient analysis

After water and glycerin come dimethicone and hydrogenated polyisobutene, which give slip and a smooth, non-greasy film, then propylene glycol and hydroxypropyl tetrahydropyrantriol (the brand’s “Pro-Xylane”).

Panthenol (provitamin B5), sodium hyaluronate and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid are the humectants behind the product name; adenosine and tocopherol appear near the end. The cream is preserved with phenoxyethanol and chlorphenesin, and nylon-12 and synthetic wax adjust the texture.

What to watch out for

Alcohol denat. sits in seventh place – in a cream this is often used to make the texture lighter, but people who react to alcohol may notice it. Parfum is listed last; individual fragrance allergens are not named on this list. The concentrations of hyaluronic acid and Pro-Xylane are not disclosed.
