Packaging and what the product is

The manufacturer’s product photo shows a cream-coloured, ribbed plastic bottle with a pump and a brown label reading “Misty Road – Smoky Notes, Sandalwood, Fig”. Polish retailers list the gel at 350 ml. The design is clearly made to stand on display in the bathroom.

Ingredient analysis

The main surfactant is Sodium Coco-Sulfate, a coconut-derived sulfate that cleans efficiently; it is softened by Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside and Lauryl Glucoside, which typically makes the wash milder than a sulfate alone. Glycerin and Sodium Astrocaryum Murumuruate (a soap-type derivative of murumuru butter) add a little cushioning.

Ascorbic acid, acerola juice (Malpighia Glabra) and reishi mushroom extract (Ganoderma Lucidum) appear after the surfactants – in a rinse-off gel their role is mainly marketing and minor conditioning. Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate and sodium gluconate are chelators; sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate preserve the formula.

What to watch out for

The gel contains parfum; no individual fragrance allergens are listed in the ingredient list we have. People whose skin reacts to sulfate cleansers may prefer a purely glucoside- or amino-acid-based wash, even though the mix of co-surfactants here makes it gentler than a classic SLS gel.

The reviewers like the warm, smoky scent and the lather, and one says it does not dry her skin; another found the fragrance does not linger on the skin and that it did not noticeably improve her dry skin, and one review calls the price high for the volume. That is too few opinions to draw firm conclusions.

Who it may suit

People who choose a shower gel mainly for its fragrance and design and like smoky, woody scents. Those looking for a gel that actively helps very dry skin should not expect much from a rinse-off product.
