Packaging and what the product is

The soraya.pl photo shows a tall, clear bottle with a pale turquoise liquid and a white flip-top cap, labelled with Soraya’s turquoise curve logo, “kolagen elastyna”, “każdy typ cery” (all skin types), “tonik bezalkoholowy” (alcohol-free toner) and “witamina A + E”. Reviewers mention a 200 ml bottle and a fairly large opening. It is applied on a cotton pad after cleansing, morning and evening; the brand positions it for mature skin, the label for all skin types.

Ingredient analysis

It is a simple watery formula: water and propylene glycol (a humectant), with PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil to dissolve the fragrance and oily vitamins. Panthenol is the main care ingredient, followed by hydrolysed elastin, vitamin E acetate, retinyl palmitate (a vitamin A ester), soluble collagen and tocopherol.

Collagen and elastin in a toner act as film-forming humectants on the surface; they do not replace the skin’s own fibres. Preservation is by DMDM hydantoin and methylparaben, and the toner is perfumed, with citronellol and linalool declared.

What to watch out for

DMDM hydantoin is a formaldehyde-releasing preservative; it is permitted in the EU, but people with formaldehyde allergy should avoid it, and EU rules now require a “releases formaldehyde” warning on products above a low release threshold. Citronellol and linalool are labelled fragrance allergens. Retinyl palmitate is covered by recent EU concentration limits for vitamin A in cosmetics. “Alcohol-free” refers to the absence of ethanol.

What users say

On Wizaż the toner has 4.3/5 from 10 ratings (checked 30 Oct 2026); most reviews date from 2017–2020, with a few later ones. Reviewers like the delicate fresh or floral-marine scent, the cooling, refreshing feel, quick absorption without stickiness, removal of make-up residue and the low price, and several say it did not irritate their sensitive skin.

Downsides: the large opening makes it easy to pour too much onto the pad, one reviewer said her skin felt tight rather than soothed, another found it only lightly moisturising and did not like the scent, and one listed the paraben as a minus. Note that one review on the same page appears to describe a micellar water, so we did not count it.

Who it may suit

People who want a cheap, gentle-feeling, alcohol-free toning step and enjoy a light fragrance. Those allergic to formaldehyde, avoiding parabens or sensitive to perfume should choose a different toner.
