Our review

A fragrance-free foaming gel cleanser with niacinamide, ceramides and hyaluronate for normal to oily skin – one of the most-reviewed cleansers on Wizaż, with very high ratings. Users praise thorough cleansing without tightness; it is a basic cleanser, not an anti-acne treatment.

Packaging and what the product is

The quoted packshot from cerave.pl shows the white pump bottle with a mint-green band reading “Oczyszczający Żel do Mycia” (Foaming Cleanser) in the 236 ml size; this database entry is the 473 ml bottle with the same pump format. It is a clear gel that lathers on wet skin and is rinsed off; it is used morning and/or evening.

Ingredient analysis

The surfactant system combines cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and sodium methyl cocoyl taurate – mild surfactants that remove sebum without the harshness of classic sulfates – with PEG-150 pentaerythrityl tetrastearate as a thickener and PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides as a mild solubiliser. Glycerin and propanediol are humectants.

Niacinamide sits in seventh place, followed by ceramides NP, AP and EOP, cholesterol, phytosphingosine and sodium hyaluronate – CeraVe’s barrier-supporting set. Carbomer and xanthan gum shape the gel; sodium benzoate, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin preserve it; EDTA salts and citric acid stabilise it.

What to watch out for

The formula contains no fragrance and no exfoliating acids, so it is generally easy to tolerate; any foaming cleanser can still feel drying if used too often on dry skin. It does not contain salicylic acid, so expectations of an acne-treating effect are misplaced.

What users say

Wizaż shows 4.7/5 from 829 ratings and LOOKFANTASTIC 4.8/5 from 371 reviews for the 473 ml bottle (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Reviewers repeatedly say it cleans thoroughly, removes make-up residue and excess sebum, leaves skin soft and smooth without tightness, has no scent and lasts a long time in the large bottle; several with acne-prone skin say it does not break them out.

A minority expected it to calm breakouts and saw no change, and one reviewer who bought it as an alternative to a Cetaphil cleanser found the two quite different. Overall, criticism is rare given the number of reviews.

Who it may suit

Normal, combination and oily skin, including acne-prone skin that needs a gentle, fragrance-free daily wash. Very dry skin may prefer a cream or hydrating cleanser.
