Our review

A fragrance-free, green-tinted day cream for redness-prone skin with a cooling agent, liquorice-derived glycyrrhizate and antioxidant glucosides. The list provided is an earlier formulation; the reviews we found are positive about the fresh feel and the look of reduced redness.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo on fr.svr.com shows a white 40 ml tube with a long, narrow nozzle, printed “SVR” and “Sensifine AR” in pink, lying beside a pale green swatch of the cream on a pink background. The light green tint is intentional: it is meant to visually counter redness on application. SVR presents it as a soothing moisturiser for sensitive skin prone to redness.

Ingredient analysis

The list supplied here differs from SVR’s current one (which now starts with C15-19 alkane and babassu oil), so it appears to be an earlier version. It is built on water, caprylic/capric triglyceride, shea butter and glycerin, structured with behenyl and arachidyl alcohols, silica and squalane.

The functional ingredients come in the middle: caffeyl, gallyl and rosmarinyl glucosides (antioxidant polyphenol derivatives), dipotassium glycyrrhizate (a soothing liquorice derivative), saccharide isomerate (a humectant) and methyl diisopropyl propionamide, a cooling agent that explains the fresh sensation users describe. The green colour comes from CI 42090 and CI 10020. Preservation relies on 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol and pentylene glycol rather than classic preservatives.

What to watch out for

No parfum and no labelled fragrance allergens. The cooling agent is a deliberate effect and may feel tingly on very reactive skin. Persistent or worsening facial redness can have medical causes such as rosacea, which should be assessed by a dermatologist; a cosmetic cream does not treat it.

What users say

On Redcare Pharmacie (France) the cream has 4.6/5 from 31 ratings (checked 31 Oct 2026). The written reviews describe immediate freshness, a calmer-looking complexion and suitability for redness-prone skin; one buyer used it on a dermatologist’s recommendation for dehydrated, fragile skin, another combines it with the tinted version of the range.

We found few detailed opinions beyond this retailer, and none of the visible reviews mention drawbacks. Reviews also do not say which formula version they refer to.

Who it may suit

People with sensitive, redness-prone skin who like a cooling, lightly tinted daily cream without fragrance. Those with very dry skin may need something richer – SVR also sells a “Riche” version.
