Nivea’s rich nourishing body milk in a 625 ml size: a water-in-oil emulsion with mineral oil, isohexadecane, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and almond oil, scented with the classic Nivea fragrance. It is one of the best-rated body lotions on Wizaż; its heaviness and fragrance allergens are the main caveats.

Packaging and what the product is

We did not find a usable official photo for this size, so no image is cited. The 625 ml format is a large family bottle; reviewers of the product line describe both squeezable tubes with a snap cap and pump bottles. Nivea markets the line as Rich Nourishing Body Milk 72h for very dry skin.

Ingredient analysis

Water, mineral oil (paraffinum liquidum) and isohexadecane form the base, with glycerin and isopropyl palmitate. PEG-40 sorbitan perisostearate and polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate, together with magnesium sulfate, stabilise a water-in-oil emulsion, which explains the rich, protective feel. Microcrystalline wax adds body. Sodium hyaluronate, sweet almond oil, tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate are smaller additions. Potassium sorbate preserves it; BHT protects the oils.

What to watch out for

The fragrance declares linalool, limonene, benzyl alcohol, geraniol, citronellol, alpha-isomethyl ionone and benzyl benzoate, so it is not ideal for fragrance-sensitive skin. Mineral oil and waxes are cosmetic-grade and well tolerated on the body, though some users prefer to avoid them. Almond oil is nut-derived.
