Our review

A salon-brand leave-in smoothing cream for dry or stressed hair, built on dimethicone and conditioning agents with panthenol, vitamin E, lysine and goji berry extract. The few reviews we found are very positive about frizz control and scent; the main caveats are a long list of fragrance allergens and parabens, and that too much can leave fine hair flat.

Packaging and what the product is

The wella.com packshot shows a soft, bright-orange squeeze tube standing on its cap, printed with the Wella Professionals logo, a vertical “INVIGO”, “Nutri Enrich – Frizz control cream with Goji Berry” and a small red “Dry or stressed hair” label; the tube is marked 150 ml (the FAQ on the same page mentions 300 ml). It is applied to damp lengths and ends, combed through and not rinsed, then hair is styled as usual.

Ingredient analysis

After water come dimethicone, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine and cetyl alcohol, so the cream relies on silicone and cationic conditioning to smooth the cuticle and reduce frizz. Distearyldimonium chloride adds more conditioning, and stearyl, cetearyl and oleyl alcohols, glyceryl stearate, polysorbate 60 and hydroxyethylcellulose build the creamy texture. Panthenol, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), glycerin, oleic acid and lysine HCl support softness and shine.

Goji (Lycium barbarum) fruit extract, the line’s signature ingredient, appears near the end of the list, so its contribution is minor. Phenoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate preserve; BHT and EDTA protect stability. Fragrance comes with nine declared allergens: limonene, benzyl salicylate, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, citronellol, alpha-isomethyl ionone, citral, geraniol and coumarin.

What to watch out for

The many fragrance allergens make this a poor choice for anyone with fragrance allergy, and the cream should be kept off the face, hairline and eyes. Methyl- and propylparaben are permitted in the EU within set limits (propylparaben up to 0.14%) and are considered safe at these levels, though some people prefer to avoid parabens. Silicone and cationic conditioners can build up on fine hair, so a clarifying wash every so often may help.

What users say

On LOOKFANTASTIC the cream had 5/5 from 5 reviews (checked 1 Nov 2026). Reviewers say it tames frizz, makes blow-drying easier and leaves a sleek, salon-like, non-greasy finish with a fresh scent; a stylist uses it for bridal hair. One notes that only a small amount is needed, because too much makes her hair a bit flat. The sample is small, and we found no larger independent rating.

Who it may suit

People with dry, coarse or frizz-prone hair who want a leave-in cream for smoother blow-dries and do not mind silicones or fragrance. Those with very fine hair, fragrance allergies, or who prefer paraben-free and silicone-free products should look for an alternative.
