Our review

A leave-in styling lotion spray for towel-dried hair, combining conditioning agents (cetrimonium chloride, quaternium-80, amodimethicone), panthenol, wheat protein and small amounts of camellia and coconut oils with a light-hold polymer. It detangles and smooths for many users and has a large number of positive reviews on Wizaż, although some found it made hair rough, sticky or frizzier. Despite the database category, it is a hair product, not a face cream.

Packaging and what the product is

The wella.com photo shows a slim white spray bottle with a tall gold cap, a large “Deluxe” logo and a gold label reading “Oil infused Lotion Spray – Dream Sleek & Nourish”, with a 1–5 hold scale marked at level 2, “medium hold | up to 3 days” and a “New” flag. The bottle holds 150 ml. It is sprayed evenly onto towel-dried hair, combed through and blow-dried.

Ingredient analysis

This is a water-based lotion with propylene glycol and glycerin as humectants and cetyl alcohol for slip. Cetrimonium chloride is a cationic conditioner that reduces static and helps detangling; quaternium-80 (a silicone quat), polyquaternium-37 and amodimethicone add smoothness and light hold and deposit mainly on damaged areas. Panthenol and hydrolysed wheat protein support softness and shine.

The “oil infused” part is Camellia oleifera seed oil and coconut oil, both low in the list. The brand mentions tea tree oil, but the INCI shows camellia (tea-seed) oil rather than Melaleuca (tea tree) oil, and we could not identify a UV filter despite the “hair UV protection” claim. Fragrance comes with linalool, hexyl cinnamal, citronellol, limonene and benzyl salicylate; phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate preserve, and isopropyl alcohol and trideceth-12 are minor processing aids.

What to watch out for

It contains hydrolysed wheat protein, which matters for people with a diagnosed wheat allergy, and several fragrance allergens that can irritate a sensitive scalp or forehead; avoid spraying near the face and eyes. Cetrimonium chloride is permitted in leave-on hair products in the EU at limited concentrations. Overuse on fine hair can make it feel coated or sticky. Like other styling sprays, it is not meant for the scalp of people with active dermatitis.

What users say

On Wizaż the spray had an average of 4.6/5 from 199 reviews, with 73% saying they would buy it again (checked 1 Nov 2026); at least some reviewers received it in the site’s free tester package. Many praise easier combing of wet hair, less frizz, a soft, shiny finish, a pleasant floral-coconut scent and a fine mist. Critical reviews mention hair feeling rough or stuck together after drying, no real hold, more frizz rather than less, and a faulty spray pump.

Who it may suit

People with normal to thick, frizz-prone hair who blow-dry and want a light, scented detangling and smoothing spray with soft hold. Those with very fine hair that weighs down easily, a wheat allergy or a sensitive scalp may prefer a lighter or fragrance-free product.
