Our review

A budget clear nail hardener/top coat based on nitrocellulose lacquer, with tiny amounts of proteins, vitamin E and diamond powder. Users mostly praise longer-lasting polish and shine; complaints concern thickening in the bottle, an awkward cap and, for some, drier or more brittle nails after removal.

Packaging and what the product is

The quoted photo from wibo.pl shows a square clear glass bottle with a tall white rectangular cap printed “wibo IRON HARD NAIL HARDENER”. Retail listings give the capacity as 8.5 ml. It can be worn alone on bare nails or as a top coat over coloured polish, and is removed with ordinary nail polish remover.

Ingredient analysis

This is a classic solvent-based lacquer. Butyl acetate and ethyl acetate are the solvents, nitrocellulose forms the hard film, and resins (adipic acid/neopentyl glycol/trimellitic anhydride copolymer and others), cellulose acetate butyrate and acrylates copolymer add adhesion and gloss. Acetyl tributyl citrate is the plasticiser that keeps the film from cracking; stearalkonium bentonite keeps it from running.

The “care” ingredients appear in small amounts near the end: tocopheryl acetate, acetyl methionine, hydrolysed corn, soy and wheat proteins and calcium pantothenate, plus diamond powder, titanium dioxide and ultramarine (CI 77007) for optical effect. Benzotriazolyl dodecyl p-cresol and tris(tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) citrate protect the film from UV yellowing. The list contains no formaldehyde, toluene or dibutyl phthalate.

What to watch out for

Solvent-based lacquers have a strong smell and are highly flammable – use them in a ventilated room away from flames. Acetate solvents and frequent remover use can dry the nail plate, which matches what some users report; a cuticle oil helps. The hydrolysed wheat protein is irrelevant for most people but may matter to those who avoid wheat-derived ingredients.

What users say

Wizaż shows 3.9/5 from 47 ratings, while Rossmann.pl shows 4.86/5 from 36 verified-purchase reviews (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Positive reviews say it extends the wear of regular polish to around a week, adds shine, dries reasonably fast, is cheap and helps nails grow without splitting, including during breaks from gel manicures.

Negative points on Wizaż include the formula thickening over time, a square cap that is hard to close, picking up colour from dark polish, slow drying for some, chipping after a day or two for others, and one reviewer felt it dried her nails and left them brittle after removal. Results clearly vary from person to person.

Who it may suit

People who wear classic polish and want an inexpensive top coat or a hard clear layer on natural nails. Those with already very dry, peeling nails may prefer a softer, more flexible nail conditioner.
