Our review

A low-cost 30 ml multivitamin serum with niacinamide in third place, a vitamin C derivative, vitamin B6, pantothenate and hyaluronate in a light emollient base. Ratings are high and plentiful; the recurring doubts concern how much it really hydrates, how fast it runs out, and its added fragrance.

Packaging and what the product is

The ziaja.com photo shows a slim, saturated-yellow bottle with a white cap and the large “C.B3” lettering of the Vitamin C.B3 Niacinamide line. It holds 30 ml. Despite the name, several users describe the texture as closer to a light cream than a watery serum.

Ingredient analysis

Water is followed by coco-caprylate/caprate, a light plant-derived emollient, and then niacinamide in third position – a meaningful concentration for this ingredient. Calcium pantothenate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate (a stable vitamin C derivative), tocopheryl acetate and pyridoxine HCl complete the vitamin set. Maltodextrin, sodium starch octenylsuccinate and silica are texturisers, with glycerin, hydrolysed rice protein, camellia seed oil and sodium hyaluronate for moisture. Carbomer thickens; hydroxyacetophenone and disodium EDTA support preservation.

What to watch out for

The serum contains parfum with declared linalool and geraniol, plus carvone, linalyl acetate and camphor, so it is not a fragrance-free option. Niacinamide at higher levels occasionally causes transient flushing in sensitive people. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is far gentler than pure vitamin C, but any new active is best introduced gradually.
