Our review

A fragrance-free body lotion with 10% urea plus ceramide NP, glycerin and a long list of natural-moisturising-factor components; very well rated for smoothing rough, dry skin, with the texture as the main point of disagreement.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo (from Open Beauty Facts) shows the 400 ml white pump bottle with Eucerin’s red logo, labelled “UreaRepair – 10% urea intensief hydraterende lotion / émollient hydratant intense 10% d’urée” and “10% Urea + Ceramides + NMF”. It is a body lotion for very dry, rough skin; a 250 ml bottle also exists.

Ingredient analysis

Urea is the second ingredient, consistent with the 10% stated on the pack: it is a humectant that also softens rough, scaly skin. Glycerin, glyceryl glucoside and sodium lactate add further moisture-binding power, and a cluster of amino acids, sodium PCA, lactic acid and similar molecules mimics the skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF).

Isopropyl stearate, dicaprylyl ether and shea butter are the emollients; the emulsifier Polyglyceryl-4 Diisostearate/Polyhydroxystearate/Sebacate is typical of water-in-oil systems. Ceramide NP is present in a small amount. Preservation uses 1,2-hexanediol, phenoxyethanol and potassium sorbate.

What to watch out for

There is no parfum in the list. At 10%, urea can sting on cracked, broken or freshly shaved skin; this is the most common reason people stop using urea lotions. Phenoxyethanol is an EU-permitted preservative (max. 1%). Lactic acid is present only as part of the NMF complex, not as a peeling.

What users say

On Wizaż the 10% lotion had an average of 4.7/5 from 109 ratings, and on LOOKFANTASTIC the 250 ml size 4.67/5 from 605 reviews (both checked 30 October 2026). Users most often praise how it smooths rough legs, arms and feet and the “strawberry-skin” bumps on the legs, and that it is unscented. Opinions on texture diverge: some say it absorbs quickly and is not sticky, others find it thick and “blunt” to spread or say it leaves a wet, sticky feel; one long-time user writes that a newer version feels thinner than the original.

Who it may suit

Adults with very dry, rough or flaky skin on the body – legs, arms, elbows, feet – who want a fragrance-free lotion with a high urea content. Not ideal on broken or freshly shaved skin, and those who dislike a tacky after-feel may prefer a lighter lotion.
