Our review

A 5 ml prostaglandin-free lash serum built on three cosmetic peptides and a group of plant extracts in a simple water–glycol base. The formula is clean of prostaglandin analogues, which many people want to avoid, but the evidence for peptide lash serums comes mainly from manufacturers and small studies, and we found no independent public user reviews of this product to report.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo on qualash.com shows a slim, brushed-silver cylindrical tube with “QUALASH®” printed vertically in black and “Activating Eyelash Serum” beside it. The cap pulls off a fine black stem ending in a thin, amber-tipped liner-style brush, and the tube sits next to a tall black carton with silver lettering marked “5 ml / 0.17 fl oz”.

It is a leave-on serum applied once a day, in the evening, as a thin line along the upper lash line. The manufacturer suggests 12 weeks of daily use followed by 2–3 applications a week, states that one bottle lasts about 6–8 months, and gives a PAO of 6 months after opening.

Ingredient analysis

The base is water with propylene glycol and propanediol, two glycols that dissolve the actives and keep the liquid fluid and lightly moisturising. Right after them come three peptides: acetyl tetrapeptide-3 and biotinoyl tripeptide-1 (biotin bound to the GHK peptide), both widely used in hair and scalp care aimed at the follicle environment, and octapeptide-2, a short peptide used in lash and hair products. The data behind these peptides comes mainly from ingredient suppliers’ in-vitro tests and small, often manufacturer-run studies; there are no large independent clinical trials showing that a cosmetic peptide serum makes lashes grow, so it is best seen as conditioning care rather than a growth treatment.

The INCI contains no prostaglandin analogues (such as isopropyl cloprostenate or dechloro dihydroxy difluoro ethylcloprostenolamide), which supports the “prostaglandin-free” label. The plant part includes Swertia japonica, soy germ, wheat germ, Panax ginseng root, calendula flower and Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) root extracts, plus the amino acid arginine; they mainly play a conditioning and soothing role. Gluconolactone, lactic acid, citric acid, triethanolamine and calcium gluconate adjust pH and stabilise the formula, sodium chloride is a minor salt, and phenoxyethanol with sodium benzoate are the preservatives. There is no fragrance in the list.

What to watch out for

The product is used right next to the eye, so apply only to the skin of the upper lash line, avoid getting it into the eye and do a patch test (e.g. behind the ear or on the inner arm) before first use. Soy germ and wheat germ extracts are present, which matters for people with known soy or wheat allergies; calendula belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae), to which some people are sensitised. Propylene glycol is a well-tolerated solvent for most users but an occasional irritant or allergen for sensitive skin.

Stop using it if you notice redness, itching, swelling or eye irritation, and see a doctor if symptoms persist. Contact lens wearers should remove lenses before application and wait until the serum has dried. People with eye conditions, after eye surgery or under ophthalmic treatment should consult a doctor first. Results, if any, depend on the individual lash cycle and are not guaranteed.

What users say

We could not find independent public opinions on this specific product: searches of Wizaż, Allegro, Amazon, Ceneo and similar sites did not return a rated listing for the Activating serum (EAN 5908044519005), and the review widget on the product page showed no published rating (checked 31 Oct 2026). With no user feedback to read, we cannot say how the serum performs in everyday use; the manufacturer’s own timeline (first visible changes after 6–8 weeks, full effect after 12) is a claim, not user evidence.

Who it may suit

Adults who want a lash conditioning product without prostaglandin analogues — for example those who prefer to avoid side effects associated with prostaglandin-type serums — and who accept gradual, uncertain cosmetic results. People allergic to soy, wheat or daisy-family plants, those reactive to propylene glycol, and anyone with eye disease should check with a professional or choose another product.
