Our review

One of the most peptide-packed serums on the market at its price, built around copper tripeptide-1. A sensible choice for people who want a gentle, non-acid anti-ageing step, provided they accept that peptide results are gradual and modest.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo, taken by an Open Beauty Facts contributor, shows the white-and-grey carton with the name 'Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum', the claim 'A Multi-Technology Peptide Formula for Advanced Age Support' and the 30 ml size. Inside is a dropper bottle. The product was previously sold as 'Buffet + Copper Peptides 1%', so you may still see that name in shops and reviews. Copper peptides give the serum a light blue tint.

Ingredient analysis

The list is long and peptide-heavy. After water and glycerin comes a Lactococcus ferment lysate, then copper tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu, the 'copper peptide' from the name) and a whole set of signal and neuro-peptides: acetyl hexapeptide-8, pentapeptide-18, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 (a pair often sold together as a single complex), palmitoyl tripeptide-38, dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate and acetylarginyltryptophyl diphenylglycine.

These are followed by two forms of hyaluronic acid, allantoin and a long list of amino acids, sugars, urea, sodium PCA and sodium lactate – essentially a copy of the skin's natural moisturising factor. Overall it is a light, hydrating water-based serum. The INCI order cannot tell you how much of each peptide is present; the 1% in the name refers to the brand's declared copper peptide content.

What to watch out for

The formula contains no fragrance or drying alcohol, and none of the main ingredients is restricted in the EU annexes. The manufacturer advises against using copper peptides in the same routine as direct acids and pure vitamin C – check the current usage notes on the brand's site. A long list of actives means more possible triggers if you have very reactive skin, so a patch test is sensible.

What users say

On Cult Beauty the serum averages roughly 4.5/5 (checked 30.10.2026). Reviewers most often praise hydration, smoother and brighter-looking skin over time, good value compared with other peptide products, and that it did not cause breakouts; several call it a repurchase staple. The main criticism is that some people see no visible difference at all. Some reviewers also note that the texture is slightly sticky until absorbed.

Who it may suit

People looking for an acid-free 'anti-ageing' step, those who do not tolerate retinoids well, and anyone wanting a hydrating serum under moisturiser. Expect gradual, subtle changes rather than dramatic results, and plan on several weeks of use before judging.
