The vianek.pl photo shows a slim white bottle with a white disc-top cap, decorated with a large black botanical drawing and a yellow panel reading “duetus – TONIK DO TWARZY – oczyszcza • reguluje” (face toner – cleanses, regulates). The brand page lists a 150 ml size; one reviewer notes that a single dose covers the whole face.

Ingredient analysis

After water comes propanediol, a humectant and solvent, then silverweed (Potentilla anserina) herb extract and panthenol. Lactic acid (an AHA) and lactobionic acid (a PHA) are present for gentle exfoliation, at levels the list does not disclose. Decyl glucoside and cocamidopropyl betaine are mild surfactants, which explains the “cleansing” claim. Bergamot fruit oil provides scent, with limonene and linalool declared. Benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid preserve the toner. There is no alcohol denat.

What to watch out for

Bergamot oil is a citrus peel oil; some bergamot oils contain photosensitising furocoumarins, and the label does not say which grade is used, so applying it before strong sun is best avoided. The acids may cause a brief tingle – one reviewer mentions this – and can increase sun sensitivity, so daytime sunscreen is sensible. Limonene and linalool are fragrance allergens.

On vianek.pl the toner had 5.0/5 from 15 reviews (checked 31 Oct 2026); most were posted between 2018 and 2021. Users with oily or combination skin describe less shine, a refreshed but not tight feel, calmer skin and a pleasant herbal-sweet scent, and like that it contains no alcohol. One reviewer, despite giving five stars, says it dried her skin and seemed to increase oiliness. The same toner is also sold on sylveco.pl.

Who it may suit

Adults with oily or combination skin who want an alcohol-free, lightly exfoliating toner. People with dry or very reactive skin, or sensitivity to citrus oils, should test it first.
