Packaging and what the product is

The manufacturer’s photo shows a small, round white jar with a white lid and a green leaf drawing, labelled “krem awokado” – Ziaja’s day-and-night cream for dry, tired skin. Polish retailers list it at 75 ml.

Ingredient analysis

Like the brand’s calendula cream, this is a water-in-oil emulsion (Sorbitan Sesquioleate and Diisostearoyl Polyglyceryl-3 Dimer Dilinoleate as emulsifiers, magnesium sulfate as stabiliser). Paraffinum Liquidum is the second ingredient, joined by lighter emollients – Hexyl Laurate, Isohexadecane and dimethicone – which help the texture spread more easily than a pure mineral-oil cream.

Persea Gratissima (avocado) oil, panthenol and tocopheryl acetate come after the base. Beeswax and hydrogenated castor oil give body and some occlusion; sodium benzoate preserves the formula.

What to watch out for

The cream contains parfum with declared linalyl acetate, hexyl cinnamal, citronellol and limonene; people with fragrance allergy should note this. It also contains beeswax, which matters to those avoiding animal-derived ingredients. A mineral-oil W/O base can feel heavy on oily or acne-prone skin.

Reviewers mostly praise the nourishing, moisturising effect, the low price and easy availability, and many like the scent. The most common remark is that it is thick and fairly greasy and may leave a sticky layer, so several recommend it for the night; others, by contrast, say it absorbs quickly enough to wear under make-up. Who it may suit

Dry or normal skin that likes a rich, inexpensive cream, especially in the cold season or as a night cream. Those with oily or combination skin, or who dislike a film on the skin, are likely to find it too heavy.
