Our review

A light almond-oil hand cream from Kneipp's “Mandelblüten Hautzart” (almond blossom) line, sold as suitable for sensitive skin – yet scented with essential oils and several declared allergens. The few reviews like the scent and quick absorption.

Packaging and what the product is

We found no official product photo to cite, so we describe the product from retailer listings: a travel-size tube of 20 ml (also sold as 75 ml) from the almond blossom “sensitive” range. It is an everyday hand cream.

Ingredient analysis

Water and glycerin lead, followed by sweet almond oil in third place and isopropyl myristate as a light emollient. The emulsion uses an olive-derived system (cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate) with cetearyl alcohol, and distarch phosphate gives a less greasy feel. Tocopheryl acetate, panthenol, shea butter, argan oil, almond flower extract and bisabolol complete the care side; arginine adjusts pH.

The scent comes from orange peel, lavandin, patchouli and lemon peel oils plus a parfum. Preservation relies on benzyl alcohol and p-anisic acid with caprylyl glycol; xanthan gum and carrageenan thicken.

What to watch out for

Despite the “sensitive” label, the list declares limonene, linalool, benzyl alcohol, coumarin, geraniol, citronellol and citral – a long allergen list for a product aimed at sensitive skin. People with fragrance allergies should read the INCI carefully. Isopropyl myristate is unproblematic on hands.

What users say

Opinions are very few. On medpex the 75 ml version has 4.5/5 from 2 reviews (checked 31 Oct 2026): one reviewer likes the light care and quick absorption but finds the scent too intense and the care too light for very dry hands; the other loves the fragrance and finds it helpful for dry hands but says it needs time to absorb.

Smallflower shows a single 5-star review for the 20 ml size, praising the almond blossom scent (checked 31 Oct 2026). That is too little feedback for a reliable picture.

Who it may suit

People with normal to slightly dry hands who enjoy a soft almond-floral scent. Those with fragrance allergies or very dry, cracked hands may want a fragrance-free, richer cream.
